2025 Powwow Calendar: Where to Experience Indigenous Culture Across Canada

Powwows are powerful celebrations of Indigenous culture, community, and tradition. These events bring together dancers, drummers, artisans, and visitors from across Turtle Island to honor Indigenous identity through regalia, music, and ceremony. Whether you're a seasoned attendee or planning to experience your first powwow, this guide highlights some of the major powwows happening across Canada in 2025.
At Aboriginal Design Wear, we are proud to create regalia that is worn at many of these events — and even prouder to help educate and invite everyone to respectfully experience the beauty of Indigenous traditions.
